A fragment of a cast copper alloy socketed axehead of late Bronze Age date. The fragment measures 42.3mm by 28.5mm by 5.4mm and weighs 27.7g. It comprises part of two sides of the socket, which has a thickened edge and an adjacent transverse linear moulding, and a short length of the axhead itself. It comprises the straight cutting edge and a short length of the tapering axehead. One side survives more intact than the other. The socket reaches almost to the cutting edge. In the centre of each side there is a longitudinal casting seam.

It narrows from its maximum thickness at the break to a minimum at the terminal. Emergent flanges are faintly visible at the sides. The object has a dark-green patina where it survives; it is otherwise light green or orange/brown as a result of corrosion.

Copper alloy socketed gouge. The mouth of the socket is circular and there is some damage to it. The socket is empty. The gouge tapers towards the cutting edge and has a gently curved sectioned furrow. There is no sign of wear in the furrow, but there is some damage or wear at the working edge. The edge is flattened. Along each side, running longitudinally is a casting line, the sprues of which have been trimmed. There is some damage to the blade and the flanges and septum are incomplete. Only the stub of the side loop remains. The axe has broken acroos the septum just in front of the stop ridges. Viewed at the break it can be seen that the casting was very bubbly, probably causing the weakness that caused the break to occur at this point. A complete cast copper alloy socketed gouge. The gouge (used as a wood-working tool) is sub-rectangular in plan, with an oval cross sectioned and slightly flared socketed. The cutting edge is 'C' shaped in section with an elongated triangular or 'V' shaped groove leading back from it on the upper surface of the gouge. An incomplete copper alloy Age Razor. Identified by Peter Reavill as a Piggot Class ii bifid type. The razor has a long rectilinear tang. It has a rectangular cross section and tapers and thickens slightly towards the terminal. It is squared off at the terminal. The blade is thinned to the edges, leaving a slight mid rib, and has arched shoulders flanking the tang. The blade is a tapering rectanglular shape with the end bent and broken, but possibly slightly rounded. 2 refitting fragments of a middle bronze age ribbed bracelet. Five ribs, more or less evenly spaced. The outer two ribs form an everted flange around either edge. The central rib has an angular crest and is higher than the two flanking it. These two also have angular crests and are decorated with transverse incised notches. The back/inside of the bracelet is fairly flat but there are traces of the ribs.

A cast copper alloy palstave of Middle Bronze Age date. The unlooped palstave measures 120mm in length by 62.8mm (width across cutting edge) by 30.6mm and weighs 307g. The widely splayed cutting edge is crescentic with well-defined slightly squared blade tips. The butt is slightly expanded and the end is damaged with a small part missing. The stop ridge is squared and the side flanges are rounded and taper to a point at the butt end. This palstave is an example of the Acton Park 'shield-pattern' type.

A cast copper alloy tanged knife of late Bronze Age date. The knife measures 141.15mm in length, 21.87mm in maximum width and 3.9mm in maximum depth. It weighs 49.87g. It has a rounded tip and widens only slightly along the length of the blade. It then narrows to the damaged tang, which is 16.18mm wide at this point and narrows to 14.22mm. The length of the tang is about 22.5mm. The object's mid olive green patina is patchy and much of the surface has flaked off. An incomplete Early Bronze Age copper alloy cast flat axehead, dating from c.2150 to 1500 BC. The blade is curved and it has a very uneven edge, probably due to surface wear and corrosion. The axehead tapers to a break before the butt. There are some traces of Bronze disease on the surface of the item.

An incomplete probably Bronze Age (2150-800 BC) copper alloy awl or punch, missing much of its tang. It measures 43.77x(max)8.12x(max)6.62mm and weighs 8.02g. The tang is circular in cross-section and worn at its break, where is measures 4.97mm in diameter. The 'working end' of the awl measures 8.10x6.65mm where the tang extends and is oval in cross-section, but with the longer edges flattened. It tapers to c.4.5x4.1mm where the tip widens to 4.6mm in diameter and then arrows again to the point (now 1.3mm in diameter).

A copper alloy Palstave axe head. The palstave has a widely flared blade, with a deeply out curved cutting edge. In profile the palstave is lentoid with the widest section being before and after the stop ridge - where it tapers to form the butt and blade. There is a prominent mid-rib extending for about half the length of the blade on both faces. A fragment of copper alloy gouge.The tapering tip only remaining. The remaining shaft of the gouge is solid and oval in cross section. It tapers to a slightly grooved, wedge shape with a rounded end. The groove is shallow and 25 mm long. The surface of the gouge is a dark grey-green with a few patches of lighter green corrosion. Date: Late Bronze Age - c. 1000 to 800 BC Dimensions: 45.6 mm x 12.2 mm x 10.7 mm Weight: 16.44 g Similar to SWYOR-FCB525 which is socketed. It is possible this example was also socketed.

A fragment of a Middle Bronze Age palstave. The piece, which represents the top of the implement, is wedge-shaped, its thickness gradually decreasing towards the rounded apex. Parts of the right-angled side flanges can be seen on both the front and back of the piece. The break is well patinated, indicating that the damage occurred in antiquity. Length: 24mm; width: 27.2mm; thickness: 8.8mm. Weight: 16.82g.

A copper-alloy biconical bead of uncertain date, probably dating from the Bronze Age to Roman periods.The bead is decorated with a circumferential rib halfway down and a ridgearount the opening on one face only. There is some wear on one side of the opening in the opposite face. It measures 14.73 mm in diameter and 8.96 mm thick, with an approximate internal diameter of 10 mm; it weighs 6.2 grams.

A fragment of a Middle Bronze Age copper-alloy palstave (c 1600 BC - c 1001 BC). This blade fragment is rectangular in cross section with convex sides. From the old transverse break at the top, the sides flare evenly to the cutting edge which is evenly curved in plan. No casting seams or decoration are present. This palstave has a green patina.. Length of remains of blade: 43.68mm; width at widest point near cutting edge 26.58: width at broken end 18.90mm; thickness at broken end 8.75mm narrowing to thickness at cutting edge of 2.65mm. Weight: 37.31g.
