Copper alloy folding strap clasp. Rectangular frame with slightly convex sides and a ridge near each corner. There is a folding end at the outer edge of the frame. This has a separate, solid, bar mount attached by a single rivet.The bar mount is bevelled. At the other side is a folded sheet metal plate which is recessed for the frame and has been pinched in behind it. The plate tapers away from the frame and has a single rivet at the centre of the distal end. It has bevelled edges and is undecorated. Copper alloy strap loop. Rectangular frame with slightly convex sides and a ridge at each corner on the top edge. It has a separate rivet on the back edge, one end o which is missing. Mid way along the top edge is a cast oval knop with incised cross hatching. The sides are bevelled. There are file marks visible on the faces of the frame.

Copper alloy buckle plate.Sheet metal plate with two broken tabs at the proximal end where it would have attached to the missing buckle frame. The tabs are recessed from the edges of the plate to take the frame and there is a notch between where the pin would have articulated. The plate was secured to the belt or strap with two rivets towards the distal end. One copper alloy, circular sectioned, dome-headed rivet remains in the lower rivet hole. Copper alloy, cast, domed thimble. The indentations or "holes" are hand stamped in a spiral pattern starting at the base. There is a plain rim arount the base and a blank area or "tonsure" at the crown. The indentaions are quite large indicating that this is a heavy duty thimble for use with coarser fabrics and leather (Holmes E.F., 1991, "Sewing Thimbles", Finds Research Group 700 - 1700 Datasheet 9, p. 2). There are several holes in the wall of the thimble. Holmes (ibib. p. 1) dates such thimbles to 1400 to 1550 and states that the "tonsure" is not found after 1650 (ibid. p. 3)

Copper alloy buckle frame and pin. Ornate double oval frame with a series of knops along the perimeter. Each of these has been drilled with a blind hole. Decorated with engraved lines which form a double frame around the loops with angled lines between. The surface is tinned. Fragment of copper alloy T-shape bow brooch. Upper bow and part of the wings only. The wings are both incomplete. They are cylindrical and have a large notch between them for the attachment of the pin (missing) to the axis bar (traces of iron corrosion only remaining). Fragment of copper alloy sword belt mount. One hooked fitting and a fragment of suspension loop from a triple-looped bar mount. The hooked fitting has a narrowed hook with a globular knopped terminal. The plate is foliate in outline, with incised foiliate decoration on the surface. It has two iron rivet attachments, one below the hook and one above the central lobe of the tri-lobed end. The back is flat and undecorated. Fragment of a copper alloy finger ring. The bezel and a fragment of the band remain. The bezel is oval and contains the traces of a probable glass stone or setting. The edges of the frame of the bezel are cast with vertical ridges around the outside. One shoulder remains. It is narrowed from the bezel and has three raised knops. There are traces of gilding. The remaining fragment of band is narrowed from the shoulder and is D sectioned. Post-medieval. Probably 18th century. Dimensions 24.57 mm x 13.68 mm x 4.41 mm. Weight 4.76 g
