A conical lead weight. At the apex is an integrally cast large suspension lug with a small sub-circular pierced hole. The lug is flattened and narrowed from the apex and is rounded on the upper edge. It has been bent over and distorted. A lead cloth seal. A two part seal folded in half. The main body of the seal is circular with a smaller, sub-circualr projection at one side.The front hallf is stamped with a crowned fleur de lis flanked by two letter Is. The seal is fixed shut by a split tab passed through a hole in the sub-circular projection, the end being bent back like a paper fastener. A cast lead papal bulla probably of Pope Innocent IV (in office 1243-1254). The obverse reads INNO/CENTIVS/PP I[V] in three lines. The reverse is very worn, but the faces of St. Paul and St. Peter with the inscription SPA above Paul and SPE above Peter, within a border of small pellets, a cross pattee between them can be identified.  The bulla has a cream coloured patina. A complete cast lead or lead alloy  papal bulla of Pope Boniface IX (VIIII) dating to the Medieval period November 1389 - October 1404. The front (recta) side of the bulla depicts the faces of Saints Peter and Paul with a cross between them. Over the images appears the abbreviation of St Paul and St Peter 'SPA SPE'. St. Paul is depicted with a long beard and a balding scalp with little hair, and St Peter has a crimped beard with curly hair formed from small sub oval pellets. On one face is a central cross or privy mark flanked by possible letters and some symbols; a six pointed star on the bottom right. On the other face are further indistinct markings in a pellet border. An incomplete lead Pilgrim's ampulla. There is a ragged vertical cut along one side which has removed part of the neck and chamber. The neck is slightly flaring to the opening at the top. An incomplete lead pilgrim's ampulla which would have held holy water from a shrine. The lead flask is rounded with a tall sub-rectangular flaring neck and retains the stubs of two attachment loops (one either side) which would have joined to the neck and provided a means of attachment. The Seal comprises two discs that are held together by an integral rivet of one disc passing through a perforation in the other disc and being squashed and marked at the same time to form the seal. Lead plaque of Medieval to Post Medieval date. A uniface circular disc of lead.  The front is decorated with  a moulded design of a shield surrounded by leaves and framed inside two concentric circles and with a floral pattern of alternating sprigs and cinquefoils around the outer edge. The shield is the Royal shield of England which was in use between 1406 and 1603. The reverse is smooth and undecorated. A cast lead pilgrim badge of medieval date. The badge measures 49.11mm in length, 25.15mm in width, its maximum thickness is 4.45mm and it weighs 6.12g. The front of the badge is moulded to represent the bust of St Thomas Becket, indicating that this was a product of his shrine at Canterbury, Kent. A complete and misshapen cast lead cap for a powder measure. Originally, the open end would have been circular or perhaps oval in plan. The open end has a plain rim. The closed end of the cap is thicker than the sides and has a slightly raised rim around the top edge edge. Along one side is a raised casting seam with a slight projection, probably from a loop, now missing. The loop enabled the cap to be attached separately to the bandolier (belt) of the wearer so that they could be removed without being lost. Lead cap or container. A cylindrical cap, closed at one and and squashed out of shape. At the open end is a girth line below the rim. There are two small circular holes along this line, probably for attachment. There object is decorated with two moulded cross designs. Although similar to powder caps, this is larger and lacks the attachment loops. The small attachment holes suggest this was attached as an end-cap, possibly to a wooden staff or similar.
