Tertiary waste flake. Grey Portland chert with a low gloss patina. Large striking platform at the proximal end. The distal end has been snapped off. Bulb of percussion with bulbar scar and waves of percussion on the ventral face. Numerous longitudinal flaking scars on the dorsal face. Probably waste from blade production.

Large chert core. A bi-facially worked core of grey brown and light grey banded chert. There is a small area of yellowish limestone cortex one face. The flaking scars are mainly linear and elongated. There are some wider flaking scars, probably from preparing one of the working platforms. Date: Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age. A flint axehead. A flaked axehead. Made on a nodule of pale grey-brown flint, now patinated to matt off-white and with iron staining along the flake ridges. Flaked on both faces from the edges, butt and cutting edge. All the cortex has been removed. The side edges are largely straight. It has a wide, slightly convex, cutting edge formed by flake removals from the edge into the body of the axehead. The axe tapers to the butt and has a lentoid cross section. A particularly fine near complete flint leaf shaped arrowhead dating to the Neolithic c.4000-2400 cal BC. The arrowhead is made from a tertiary flake of dark grey flint that has occasional light grey patch inclusions. It has a semi glossy patina. A tertiary flake Neolithic blade struck from pale brown grey flint, dating to the Neolithic c. 4000 BC-2000 BC. The flake has a triangular cross section, with short sub-parallel low angle retouch along both sides of the flake. There is a high bulb of percussion and ripple marks along the length of the flake. A Neolithic discoidal scraper struck from a tertiary flake of grey flint, 47.3mm in length. The distal edge terminates in a hinge fracture and the sides and proximal end have been worked into scraping edges with short, semi-abrupt sub-parallel retouch. There is a notch at the proximal end next to the striking platform, which most likely derives from post depositional damage.

A crude flint end scraper. Made on a tertiary flake of  patchy grey flint. It has a matt patina. There is a low bulb of percussion and a small striking platform at the proximal end and faint waves of percussion on the ventral face. On the dorsal face are several flake removal scars and angular fractures (probably due to the low quality of the flint). A large flint piercer or multi tool made from a fragment of a nodule of mottled grey flint, 61.2mm in length and of Bronze Age date. The tool is triangular with a long tip which has been worked into a point using abrupt scaled retouch along one side. The proximal end has a patch of long abrupt parallel retouch which has removed the cortex and created a scraping edge, suggesting multiple functions for the tool.

A large and heavily recorticated flint blade which has been retouched along one side using long, low angle and semi abrupt scaled and stepped retouch. The other long edge retains cortex along its length; the distal end narrows to a square terminal with a hinge fracture. This is possibly identifiable as a backed blade of Final Late Upper Palaeolithic date (c. 13,000 BC) although such tools were produced throughout prehistory.
