An incomplete copper alloy hooked fitting. Possibly a dress fastener or a buckle pin. A thick bar of copper alloy with a D-shaped cross-section for much of its length, thinning into a rectangular cross section towards the hooked end. Th hooked end is tapered and bent at a right angle before curling back on itself. At the other end is also tapered and ends in a break. On one face of the bar in the centre are traces of stamped decoration of an annulet with four annulets set around it forming a rectangle. A Post Medieval copper alloy mount dating to c.1500 -1700. The mount consists of a pointed oval moulded plate with two asymmetrical side knops, one on either side at around the mid way point. The front is decorated with a symmetrical foliate design in relief surrounded by a narrow beaded raised border which follows the shape of the plate. Traces of gilding remain on both faces. The reverse of the mount is flat and has the bent stubs of two integral spikes which are circular in cross-section. A large late medieval egg-shaped sheet metal mount dating to AD 1300 - 1500. The mount is undecorated and has a small attachment hole in the centre which has been formed by pushing through from one side, creating a concavity at the centre of one side and making the [plate convex in the centre of the other side.. A Medieval copper-alloy bar mount, dating to AD 1350 - 1400. A rectangular cross-sectioned bar mount with a single rivet in the centre. The rivet is circular in cross section and tapers at on old break, it projects slightly from the back. The mount has a shield-shaped or sub- triangular.plate The wider edge is trilobed and the tapered end is decorated with a rounded knop with a smaller knop at the end. A post-medieval (1600-1800) copper alloy furniture mount in the form of a stag's head with moulded eyes, snout and ears, and antlers projecting from the top of the head. The reverse is concave except behind the lower snout, which is solid. Here is the remains of a circular-sectioned integral shank, 4.5mm in diameter (surviving to a length of c.2mm). The metal has lost its original patina and is now a purplish-brown in colour. The object measures 43.4mm in length, 35.8mm in max.width, 9.3mm in depth and weighs 11.86g.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy lozenge shaped mount,dating to c. AD 1350 - 1400. The mount is lozenge shaped and D Shaped in cross section. It is decorated with nine raised rounded pellets which are split into five rows. The rows are split into one, two, three, two, one, creating the lozenge shape. The underside is undecorated but in the centre retains a stump of an integral rivet. Reference: Egan and Pritchard (1991) p 199 no 1078. Two incomplete post-medieval lead mounts, dating to c. AD 1700 - 1900. The mounts may have been sub-circular, but are now broken. Both have deeply moulded relief decoration in the form of a lion's head surrounded by a mane. The naturalistic facial features comprised of a protruding nose, mouth, eyes and brow ridge. The pupils of the eyes are recessed.. The remains of surrounding mane are decorated with moulded curved lines and a cinquefoil flower at ear height.
