Robertson 2000, 59 no. 288: "During the excavation of several Bronze Age barrows: "no weapon or implement of any kind was found, unless one or two doubtful chips of flint might be considered to be such; and a small piece of rusted brass and a horseshoe, which presented no very distinctive character; but the remarkable fact connected with the discovery is that several Roman coins were exhumed. They are all in a very poor state, but a distinguished antiquarian friend pronounces them to be third brasses of Domitian, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, Marcus Aurelius?, Lucilla and Tetricus I." …
