A medieval copper alloy possible part of a knife bolster with an integral quillon.It has an oval-shaped body with a key-shaped aperture in the top and open at the bottom. The sides are straight and decorated on the long sides with two double diagonal lines of stamped triangles forming a truncated V-shape.Projection up and out from the narrow ends of the oval at the top are two arms of the integral quillon.
