A copper alloy post-medieval rolled rivet dating to the period c.AD 1500 - 1800. The rivet consists of a piece of sheet metal which has been rolled into a tapered cone. A seam runs longitudinally and the top has been flattened to one side, there is a small long rectangular indent into the top of the rivet and the inside appears to be hollow. The rivet measures 37.1mm in length, 13.9mm in width at the top and weighs 4.37g. A discussion of these rivets can be found in Egan (2005, p.101). A Post-Medieval copper alloy book clasp probably dating to AD 1500 to 1800. The clasp comprises of a rectangular plate which flares widely at the attachment end and narrows at the other end into a rearward facing hook. The attachment end has five holes, with three in one row and two in the row closest to the flared end, the latter two still contain the remains of iron rivets. An incomplete cast copper alloy hinged initial T-shaped brooch with a hinged pin mechanism, dating to AD 50 - 150. Most of the pin, lower bow and and catch plate are missing. The head consists of two cylindrical wings. The wings are decorated with a series of semi circumferential incised lines. There are traces of iron corrosion on the left wing terminal. At the rear of the wings is a central notch for the attachment of pin, the head of which only remains. The bow has a circular cross section and tapers to the break.
