Copper alloy belt mount. It has an oval/sub-circular central lobe with a squared projection at each end. These are pierced and retain separate copper alloy rivets. It has horizontal and vertical incised line decoration in the middle forming a band.

Possible copper alloy fastener. It is an openwork square with a row of circular piercings parallel to a row of rectangular piercings. There are two projections at one side near the corners. There is a tapering bar with one end remaining which has a circular pierced terminal. The other end has a pierced rectangular projection which has been bent over to the back of the object as if to house a bar or act as a hook attachment.

Copper alloy bow brooch, 'Wilsford' type with a missing pin. It has tubular wings one with probable mis-casting. There is a hole at the back to house the axis bar which is missing. There is a large notch between for the head of the hinged pin which is missing. At the ends of the wings on the front are moulded grooves and ridges, there are two grooves at each of the ends. The sides of the upper bow are deeply moulded. Each has three pairs of wide ribs with a groove between, each pair separated by a wide v-shaped groove. The ribs taper to the back of the bow and get progressively smaller…

Copper alloy, silvered mount. Probably the catch piece from a dress fastener. A bi-lobed, domed front with filigree wire and stud decoration, attached to a bi-lobed plate with scalloped edges. The wire is in the shape of a trefoil on each dome, with a studs in each foil, in the centre of the dome and around the edge. The back is flat and undecorated. A separate, rectangular, copper alloy wire is attached at the back through two holes in the base plate. There a re traces of silvering on the surface. This is very similar in style to silver gilt pins and dress hooks dated to the tudor period.

A copper alloy spoon fragment. A small part of the bowl, stem and knop remain. The bowl was probably fig-shaped. The stem is hexagonal in section and tapers distally. At the end is an expanded oval knop with a pointed apex. It is decorated with a deeply incised rectangular grid pattern which possibly represents a pine cone. It's dimensions are: 79mm (length of bent spoon), 43mm (width of bowl), 3mm (thickness of stem)

A flint handaxe of probable Lower Palaeolithic date. The handaxe is a crude and unifacially worked implement made from light grey and orange-brown flint with brown banding. It has a matte patina. One face has several clear flaking scars and a large area of nodule cortex. The other side is largely unworked, with several natural fractures. However, there are some flaking scars around the edges of this side which are more likely to be derived from human action. Identified by Chris Norman as Wymer (1968) type E.

A copper alloy palstave axe of Middle Bronze Age date. It is complete with high, curving flanges and a deep hafting recess with high, concave stops. The sides flare out into the crescent shaped blade, the surface of which is slightly rippled. Casting ridges are visible on both of the flanged sides. Much of the original surface is retained under iron deposits generated by soil conditions. Dimensions: 148.5 mm x 61.93 mm x 35.75 mm.

Two conjoining pieces of copper alloy, D-sectioned bracelet. The outer surface has moulded decoration consisting of two groups of three regularly spaced convex projections (two smaller flanking one larger) each flanked by a raised transverse rib and separated by a deep groove. The two groups would have been on opposite sides of the now bent bracelet. One side is considerably more worn than the other. Its dimensions are: 146.59mm x 13.57mm x 5.93mm

A cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The oval single loop buckle has an integrally cast forked spacer, onto which separate plates (now missing) were soldered. The outer edge of the frame has a pointed lip with a deep groove to form the pin rest. The frame is bevelled. There is a constriction for the attachment of the (missing) pin at the back. Behind the buckle is a rectangular element with a stepped aperture, flanked by the prongs of the fork. The prongs are straight and square-sectioned. The back is flat and undecorated. Dimension: 60.21mm x 29.70mm x 4.31mm. Weight: 9.43g.
