A fragment of copper alloy with a design on one surface. The design seems to be part of the reverse of a stater of the British Iron Age, South Western uninscribed (Durotrigian) type. It comprises a group of circular recesses and two crescent-shaped recesses below. This would be equivalent to the raised pellet and two raised crescents seen on such staters (the crescents being the belly of a stylised horse. This may be part of a coin die for manufacturing staters, or it could also be an impression of such a coin, perhaps to cast copies in a mould.

The frame and strap bar form the two symmetrical loops. There is a lozenge shaped knop with a raised moulded lozenge decoration on the outside edge of both loops. The narrowed strap bar has a trapeziodal cross section and moulded trefoil decoration at either end. The pin is missing except for a lump of iron still on the strap bar and a stain where the pin bar rested on the frame. The reverse of the buckle is undecorated.

A fragment of a Roman ceramic vessel base, dating to c AD260 - 400. It is a hard grey fabric, without inclusions. There is evidence of a dark grey or brown wash. The base is circular, with a short pedestal which flares out to a short section of circular body before early damage caused the rest of the vessel to break away. On the underside of the pedestal is a central raised dot.Lightly inscribed circumferential grooves can be seen on the extant body. Probably a New Forest fineware thumb pot or beaker.

A possibly incomplete sub circular copper alloy flat item, of unknown date. The find has an incised pattern, on both sides, of four stylised unlinked drop shapes, two straight lines of different lengths, extending across the diameter, and two small double annulets. The drop shapes face outwards in a slightly haphazard manner, the points close to the edge. A small section of the circumference may be missing to an old break. A fragment of a possibly Middle Bronze Age copper alloy blade, perhaps a rapier dating to c. 1400-1100 BC. Only a very small part survives, a sub rectangular piece with early breaks at both ends. It both tapers and narrows along its length. It has a mid green patina. A small triangular section of the outer surface is missing on one side, but this is probably damage or decay, not decoration.

An incomplete Medieval copper alloy possible spur buckle, dating to c AD 1250 - 1400. What remains is the buckle itself and an extended integral bar at the attachment end which is foreshortened by an early break . The buckle frame is D shaped, and D shape in section, with an extended outer edge on which there is an extended central sub lozengiform knop flanked on both sides by two pointed knops. An incomplete Early Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy dress or hairpin dating to cAD 720-1700. It has an oblate head with a integral flat circular feature transverse at the crown . A simple rounded collar lies immediately below the head and the shank is circular in section, foreshortened by an early break. This tapers a little.

An incomplete copper alloy and enamel plate brooch. The plate is zoomorphic in form, but precisely which animal is represented is unclear. It appears to be a mammal, possibly a lion.
