An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy buckle with integral plate dating to c. AD 1250-1500. The object consists of a single loop buckle frame with an integral cast plate and has an additional plate attached to the underside by rivets. The frame is sub-oval in shape with a lobed knop at either end of the strap bar. There is no central groove for the pin to rest and the buckle is undecorated. An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy weight of probable later Medieval or Post Medieval date (1350 - 1700). The weight is circular with one edge missing possibly cut. A sub-rectangular hole has been cut / or more likely cast through the centre. This hole has been filled with a fragment of clear glass. The weight is a mid grey colour with a relatively even and corroded patina that covers all surfaces. A light active powdery corrosion product is present on all surfaces. A cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount. Williams Class A, Type 9. The mount depicts a face with projecting chin and straight mouth. The eyes are pointed ovals.  Around the cheeks and arching across the eyes are interlacing ribbons which end in scrolls. This examples ribbons are very stylised in a celtic knot work pattern. This knot work appears to have been inset with a white metal and there are traces of an orange enamel.
