A flint core produced during the process of blade manufacture.The flint is light grey-brown. It is now largely covered in a heavy off-white patina with small areas of reddish brown ferrous staining, mainly on the flake scar ridges. A single platform core with multiple blade removals around one side. There is some recent damage to the distal and and the platform. A complete Medieval copper alloy 'simple' bar mount, dating to c. AD 1250-1350. The find is rectangular in plan, and decorated on the surface with two parallel grooves to the long end, which have the reminas of a crimped design on the outer edges of the mount. The two rivets are still in situ and the shanks of the rivets, which are slightly angled towards each other,  can be seen on the reverse of the find. An incomplete copper alloy quillon or guard, probably from a small dagger or knife date to the 13-15th century. The object has a flat elongated sub-ovate shape with a curved profile, one side is missing to a break. In the centre, is a small worn rectangular perforation measuring 5.37mm in length and 2.60mm in width. As complete, the perforation would have served as the slot through which the blade would have slotted into the grip. An complete copper alloy finger ring.  The ring is keeled and has a blind bezel. The sloping shoulders are triangular and undecorated. The downward points of the triangles are flanked by angled projections. The band is narrow and D-sectioned.
