Post-Medieval copper alloy coin weight for a spur ryal of James I. The weight is roughly square in shape. The upper face has an indistinct design, possibly of a rayed sun or spur. The reverse has the raised figures 'X.V.s' below a crown within a plain line border.~

An incomplete copper alloy double loop buckle frame. The frame has two oval loops, with a flat back and bevelled inner edges. The centre bar is narrowed from the frame, has a trapeziodal cross section and a slight knop at each end. The tapering copper alloy pin is hooked over the centre bar.

A copper alloy seal matrix. A pedestal type with a hexagonal faceted handle. The handle has a low collar at the top and a lozengiform suspension loop with a quatrefoil aperture. The handle flares into a circular die. The die is incised with a frame of an eight pointed star (formed by two overlapping and off set squares) around a central raised hexagonal frame around a motif of a tree with rounded top and broad trunk.

A complete cast copper alloy flat axehead or chisel. There is some damage to the cutting edge and the butt. The butt is narrow and angled at the end. The axehead is elongated with long, low-flanged sides which flare out from the butt to the curved cutting edge. The bowl of a post medieval clay smoking pipe dating to c AD1660 - 1680.The bowl has broken off at an early date at the junction with the stem but was at an angle of c45 degrees to the stem. The bowl is cream/white in colour and there is no decoration. It tapers a little towards the mouth where the rim is missing to an early break. A base sherd from a Roman Oxfordshire red slipped ware vessel dating to the period c. AD 240 - 410. The sherd consists of part of a circular foot ring with edges terminating in old breaks. The fabric is orange in colour. It exhibits mica inclusions. The surfaces are coated in a smooth orange-red slip which has been heavily abraded.

An incomplete post-medieval (1550-1650) copper alloy buckle plate, consisting of the upper decorated half only. Originally the plate would have consisted of one copper-alloy sheet, cut and folded transversely at the centre. This example is broken in half at the point where it would have folded around the buckle frame leaving two undecorated tabs extending from the decorated plate (for a complete example see WMID-389B1E).

An incomplete pewter single loop Buckle dating to Medieval c.1350 - 1450 reference Whitehead 1996 ( Buckles 1250 - 1800 ) page 36 no.210. Incomplete missing over half of the oval loop, missing half of the integral forked spacer and missing both of the sheet plates that would have been soldered to the forked spacers. All the breaks in the frame appear to be old.
