One sherd of Samian ware/terra sigillata (Eastern Gaulish (Trier) fabric). Oxidised orange fabric with some white flecks. The surfaces are covered with with a orange- red, thin slip with a matt finish. The surfaces are quite abraded and chattered. I sherd of glazed earthernware. A fragment of pottery handle. The fabric is grey-white with some slight, orange oxidisation at the margins below the glaze. It is tempered with abundant, fairly fine sand and has no other visible inclusions. The handle is decorated on its upper surface with a line of impressed four-quadrant, circular stamps, two and a half of them on the remaining fragment.
