A base sherd from a Roman Oxfordshire red slipped ware vessel dating to the period c. AD 240 - 410. The sherd consists of part of a circular foot ring with edges terminating in old breaks. The fabric is orange in colour. It exhibits mica inclusions. The surfaces are coated in a smooth orange-red slip which has been heavily abraded.

The remaining profile of the sherd suggests that it probably derives from a bowl of Young's form C40 - C96.

A Medieval to Post Medieval copper-alloy fragment from a cooking vessel such as a tripod skillet dating to c. 1300 - 1700. An incomplete cast copper-alloy leg from a cooking vessel, The leg is broadly rectangular with a sub triangular-shaped cross section (flat at the rear). On the front, convex face of the flared foot are five narrow longitudinal ridges below a thick transverse collar. Above the collar the leg is narrowed and decorated with central longitudinal ridges. The base of the foot is smoothed and worn.

A cast copper alloy vessel fragment in two pieces. Part of a vessel wall and rim, probably from a large vessel such as a cauldron. The rim is plain and slightly everted with a low internal bead. The interior surface is worn and smooth. The exterior of the vessel is scored, probably as a result of the manufacturing process and also sooted.

Complete cast copper alloy vessel. The vessel has a bulbous rounded body and base , a narrow neck, a collar at the rim and asymmetrical open handles. The mouth opening is sub-circular. The handles have differently sized sub-circular apertures and are D-shaped in cross section. The handles are attached at opposite sides to the collar at the rim and extend downwards to join at the base of the neck.

A sherd of earthenware pottery. The fabric is reduced grey brown with an oxidised external margin. It is tempered with abundant, poorly sorted calcareous pieces (up to 10 mm) and grog (giving a soapy feel to the surfaces). The internal surface has numerous voids from the loss of some of the temper. An undiagnostic body sherd. Handmade. Heavily abraded.

2] The fabric has an oxidised pink core with orange margins. Tempered with abundant fine sand and occasional iron-rich pieces. A grooved handle from a small jug. There are traces of yellow-green glaze in the groove. Weight: 21 g

A copper alloy vessel spout with a zoomorphic terminal. A narrow, curving spout from a ewer or copper. The base is expanded and oval and would have attached to the body of a vessel. Copper alloy zoomorphic mount from a vessel handle, probably from a chafing dish. A zoomorphic head, possibly a lion or dog, with a tapering circular aperture all the way through it. The animal's head has incised lentoid eyes below a moulded double-arched brow, moulded and recessed rounded oval ears at the back of the head on either side and a moulded snub-nosed snout with incised nostrils. The open mouth is delineated with two angled incised lines forming a chevron on each side with a slight spout-like projection emerging from it.
