A pair of copper alloy tweezers. Constructed from sheet metal folded over at the mid point to form two arms. At the fold is slightly expanded to form a drop-shaped loop and the outer surface has molded decoration of a central groove flanked by ridges all contained in a rectangular framing ridge. Below this, both arms are decorated with a transverse incised line and a framing outer line along the whole length. A set of copper alloy tweevers. The arms are flared from the top and terminate in a broad, straight edge. On arm is bent forward, the other curves inwards towards it. At the top the arms are joined in an expanded loop, possibly to allow for suspension of the tweezers. A pair of copper alloy tweezers of Roman to early medieval date (c. AD 43 - 900). The tweezers consist of a single strip of copper alloy bent at the mid point and pinched inwards slightly to create a circular suspension loop. The arms project outwards from the loop and are both curved inwards at the tip like pincers. The tweezers have a smooth dark green patina with occasional light green chips from more recent damage. The tweezers measure 48.46mm in length, 6.17mm in width, are 1.45mm thick and weigh 5.12g. Cf. Crummy, N, 1983, p. 58 - 59.

A pair of copper alloy tweezers of Roman to early medieval date (c. AD 43 - 900). The tweezers consist of a single strip of copper alloy bent at the mid pint and pinched inwards slightly to create a circular suspension loop. The arms project outwards from the loop and are both curved inwards at the tip like pincers. One arm is slightly longer than the other. The tweezers have a smooth green patina. The tweezers measure 43.31mm in length, 4.75mm in width, are 0.71mm thick and weigh 2.21g. Cf. Crummy, N, 1983, p. 58 - 59.
