A fragment of Roman roof tile, dating to AD 50 - 400. A fragment of tegula. The fabric is oxidised dark orange-red with fine sand temper. The surfaces are smooth. The remaining fragment retains one lipped edge giving it an L-shaped profile. The lip is straight along the outer edge and angled on the inner face.
