A cast copper-alloy tack from the Post-Medieval to modern periods, circa 1600-1800. The head is circular in plan with a convex top and concave back.The integral shank is of rectangular cross section and is distorted Tacks such as these were often used to attach leather to furniture. The object has a brown patina. Diameter 15.29 mm. Length 4.66 mm,. Weight: 1.741 grams.

A cast copper-alloy tack from the post-Medieval to modern periods, circa 1600-1900. The head is circular in plan, with a domed upper surface and concave underside. The square-sectioned shank projects from the centre of the head's underside, tapering to a point. Tacks such as this were widely used for attaching leather to furniture. The tack has a brown patina and the shank is a little distorted. Diameter of top: 9.02 mm. length:12.47 mm. Weight:0.593 grams.
