An incomplete, bent copper-alloy stylus. The stem of the stylus is circular in cross section and tapers towards a spatulate terminal. It is bent at a right angle before the terminal. The terminal is flattened and expanded from the stem. It then tapers before flaring out again to a straight edge (forming a bow shape). At the opposite, wider end of the stem there is a sharp constriction to the projecting stub of a fine needle (the end used for making marks). The wider end of the stem is decorated with three girth grooves.
