A Post-Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, probably part of a sword belt, probably dating to AD 1500-1700. The fitting consists of a sub-rectangular plate, with an indented upper edge and tapering into a rearward facing blunt hook; this retains a separate copper alloy loop. The plate is perforated twice on the longitudinal median line, both retaining iron corrosion from probable iron rivets. Incised lines define a transverse collar surmounting the hook. An incomplete post medieval cast copper alloy, symmetrical, slightly convex strap fitting dating to cAD1600 - 1700. It has two integral pointed lugs, broadly rectangular in section, one with its tip missing. There is a transverse ridge at the centre of the mount, from where the two ends expand. It is corroded but it may be that the two halves represent two leaves of two acorns, facing away from one another. The two ends are bent upwards from the middle. It is 26.51mm in length, 9.15mm in width and weighs 2.77g.

The item consists of two sub rectangular sheets of metal of approximately the same size. held together with a single iron rivet. An incomplete post medieval cast copper alloy strap fitting with integral pointed lugs, dating to cAD1600 - 1700. See Read Metal Artefacts of Antiquity 2001 p 29 and 37 fig22 no 334 for very similar. The strap fitting is in the form of an acorn but the 'stem' end has broken away leaving just a stump. The surface is largely worn away but the knop at the lower end of the acorn is extant and the slightly raised ridge which depicts the mouth of the cup of the acorn can be seen. A copper-alloy medieval strap slide, dating to the period AD 1350-1400. It is trapezoidal in shape with two internal triangular projections, of c.4mm, near the narrower end. It measures 31.58mm along its front edge externally and 25.56mm across the rear of the frame and internally could have accommodated a strap up to c.22mm wide. The frame is 21.29mm from front to back. The slide weighs 3.10g. The longer front edge is decorated with a knop at either end, and a central knop flanked on either side by a ridge. The strap fitting consists of a mount with three suspension loops from which a trio of hooked plates hang, all of the hooked plates and one loop are detached. A complete medieval copper alloy strap slide with internal rivet. The strap slide has a five sided arched frame, rectangular in section, the rivet being opposite to the apex of the arch. The strap slide measures 18.1mm in length, 11.9mmin maximum width and 3.4mm in thickness. It weighs 0.96grams. A similar example can be found in Egan & Pritchard (1991), p.147, no. 1252.

A cast copper alloy medieval strap loop mount. The strap loop is trapezoidal in shape and has a curved outer edge. There are two internal projections, which are located closer to the narrower end. The metal surface of the object is mid greyish -green in colour and slightly worn. The mount probably dates to the 12th - 15th century. Parallels can see seen in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p233-4, 149.
