A copper-alloy strap fitting probably part of a composite sword belt mount. It comprises a flat geometric plate with an incomplete rearward hook at one end. At the opposite end to the hook, the plate is a rectangular transverse bar with a scalloped upper edge and an indentation at either side. From this extends a lozengiform section of the plate and this then extends into a scallop-shell shaped section. A copper alloy hooked mount. The mount has a trefoil openwork plate with a circular attachment hole in the top foil. There are circular holes through the side foils with a lozengiform aperture below.
