A fragment of glazed crested ridge tile. The tile has a curved underside and an angled upper edge with a triangular, knife trimmed crest. The fabric is sand tempered with a reduced dark grey core and orange margins. Over the upper surface is a patchily applied brownish green glaze. Date: Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval - 1300 - 1600 Weight: 62.38 g

A fragment of ridge tile of late medieval or early post-medieval date. The fabric is sand-tempered with a grey-brown core and red surfaces. The ridge has angled sides with flat surfaces and is shaped into a point (broken at tip). Below the ridge, at the thickest part of the tile are stabbed holes to prevent breakage during firing in the kiln. There are splashes of green glaze of the outside of the tile. Abraded. Weight: 47 g.
