An incomplete copper alloy hooked fitting. Possibly a dress fastener or a buckle pin. A thick bar of copper alloy with a D-shaped cross-section for much of its length, thinning into a rectangular cross section towards the hooked end. Th hooked end is tapered and bent at a right angle before curling back on itself. At the other end is also tapered and ends in a break. On one face of the bar in the centre are traces of stamped decoration of an annulet with four annulets set around it forming a rectangle. A Post Medieval copper alloy mount dating to c.1500 -1700. The mount consists of a pointed oval moulded plate with two asymmetrical side knops, one on either side at around the mid way point. The front is decorated with a symmetrical foliate design in relief surrounded by a narrow beaded raised border which follows the shape of the plate. Traces of gilding remain on both faces. The reverse of the mount is flat and has the bent stubs of two integral spikes which are circular in cross-section. A post-medieval (1600-1800) copper alloy furniture mount in the form of a stag's head with moulded eyes, snout and ears, and antlers projecting from the top of the head. The reverse is concave except behind the lower snout, which is solid. Here is the remains of a circular-sectioned integral shank, 4.5mm in diameter (surviving to a length of c.2mm). The metal has lost its original patina and is now a purplish-brown in colour. The object measures 43.4mm in length, 35.8mm in max.width, 9.3mm in depth and weighs 11.86g.

Medieval or post-medieval copper alloy lozenge shaped mount probably dating from the early 15th century to the 17th century. The surface is completely covered in a pattern of multiple pellets. The back is plain with the central integral spike being broken close to the plate. The piece has a shiny green patina. It measures 24.19mm in length, 14.93mm in width, 2.64mm in thickness and weighs 2.73g. A similar example in Read (2001:32) no. 253 has been dated to cAD1350-1400. However the form is also similar to mounts and studs with integral rivets dated to the 17th century.

A Medieval copper alloy zoomorphic hooked mount, probably dating to c. AD 1100-1300. The central element of the mount is a small, broadly flat, sub-rectangular plate, 9.1mm wide at the mid-point, and c. 6.7mm long. Expanding from the top corners of the mount at roughly 45 degree angles are a pair of integral arms, both terminating in an irregular sub-oval with a drilled circular perforation. An incomplete cast copper-alloy bar mount dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It has a circular main body decorated with a series of five transverse grooves, attached to the upper and lower edges of which are two integrally cast circular terminal lobes. Each of these demonstrates a central circular aperture designed to accomodate a single circular-sectioned copper-alloy each, though now only a portion of one of the original rivets survives intact. Cast copper alloy bar mount with two separate rivet holes, one with a rivet still intact. The central section of the mount is circular in plan and hemi-spherical in profile, with a hollow back. The domed upper face is decorated with four deep transverse grooves. The central lobe tapers on either side to a semi-circular knop, each with a rivet hole that is 1 mm in diameter. The surviving rivet is 2.4 mm long and less than 1 mm in diameter. Read (2001) illustrates a similar bar mounr on page 23, fig.12, no.150, which is dated from c.1350-1400.

An early medieval copper-alloy mount decorated with a zoomorphic design. The mount has particularly thin applied silver sheet and has been gilded. The mount is rectangular, has bevelled sides, is concave on the underside and was presumably set into another object, possibly a casket since only the silvered top was meant to be seen. There are no extant means of attachment except that there are indications of extensions of some kind at the bottom of the bevelling at each of the shorter ends of the item. An incomplete, silver mount of probable Medieval date, circa (AD 1300-1400). The mount is in the form of a squared shield with rounded lower edge. The front face is decorated with a possible bird with outstretched wings. The bird possibly represents a Pelican as seen on a parallel discovered in Holton le Moor, Lincolnshire (2002 T135) discovered in 2002 and illustrated in the Treasure Annual Report (2002) page 81 and fig 81. A cast copper alloy mount of post-medieval to modern date. The head of the mount is hemispherical, with a concave underside.An integrally cast rivet projects backwards from the centre of the head's underside; it is of square cross section, bent and tapers to a point back with a square tapered shank which tapers to a point.
