The sub-triangular plate has three pierced attachment lugs at the broad end (producing a scalloped-effect) and it tapers to a form a hook, rounded in cross section, and broken off at the end. A silver hooked tag. The hooked tag has a sub-circular plate with two circular perforations towards the upper edge (these are arranged somewhat asymmetrically). An Early Medieval copper-alloy hooked tag, dating to AD 800 - 1100. An isosceles triangle shaped plate with an integral, drawn, D-sectioned hook at the apex of the triangle, at the base of the tag. The upper edge of the plate is notched in the centre. At the two top corners of the plate are two circular attachment holes. The edges of the plate are slightly rounded. An Early Medieval copper alloy hooked tag, probably dating to AD 800-1100. The tag consists of an undecorated triangular plate with two indentations at the attachment end creating three sub-trapezoidal lobes, each with a circular perforation. The point of the plate continues into a rearward facing sharp hook. The tag measures 27.9mm in length, 15.3mm at its widest point, 0.9mm thick and weighs 1.31 grams. cf. Read (2008) pages 7-13.

A complete silver hooked tag. It comprises a flat, circular plate with two pierced lugs in the upper edge (one incomplete) and a curved, tapering hook on the lower edge.
