Possibly the part of a suspension mount from a harness pendant. An oval central plate with two expanded parallel suspension loops at each end. At one end there are traces of a small copper alloy axis bar. In the centre of the plate is a circular rivet for attachment. This is unusual for such suspension mounts as it has loops at both ends and may in fact be an attachment from another object (e.g. a connecting element from a bracelet or necklace).

An enamelled copper-alloy object, probably representing a medieval harness pendant of circa 1300-1450 .The object is circular, of flat section, with two opposing attachment loops to the external edge. One loop is incomplete, probably due to wear. The red enamel remaining occupies the fields around a plain, double-stranded cross fleuretty which would originally have been gilded or silvered. The red enamel has disintegrated and is in a poor state. The back is plain. This is probably the central piece in a three-part harness pendant. Diameter: 21.35 mm. Thickness: 1.92 mm. Weight: 4.159 grams.

A damaged and incomplete cast copper-alloy probable harness pendant suspension mount of medieval date (c. 14th century). It is effectively a bar mount with an expanded centre in the form of a moulded six-pointed star. Each end is rounded with the usual perforation and a long, pointed knop; the rivets have been lost. These terminals are divided from the horizontal element by a double cusp. On the upper surface of the central element the star is slightly recessed and has a six-petalled flower in its centre; this latter is also recessed with a central pellet. These recessed 'cells' may o…

A copper alloy suspension mount for a harness pendant. Cast flat-backed bar of triangular cross section with rounded ends, At either end of the bar is a circular hole for attachment. The front face of the mount is decorated with a heraldic design of a bend (triple stranded) due to wear this is all that is visible. The decoration would have probably been inlaid with enamel.
