A fragment of ceramic probable box flue tile. A smooth sand tempered fabric with thin reduced light grey core and thick orange oxidised margins. The surface is combed for keying of plaster. There are groups of two wide parallel grooves running diagonally and forming a chevron. Date: Roman - c. AD 50 - 400 Thickness: 19 mm Weight: 133 g
