A possible earring element or button. A gold four lobed sub spherical pendant ornament. The shape is reminiscent of stylised pomegranate ornaments. There are four main lobes which are cross hatched. Between these are single longitudinal ridges. At the base is a moulded quatrefoil with a central pointed projection. At the apex there is a loop with a large circular hole. The item is hollow.. Date: Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval - 15th to 16th century. Dimensions: 15.59 mm x 11.04 mm Weight: 1.93 g
