An incomplete copper alloy dress fastener. A Read Class A type 2 catch piece. It comprises a flat, oval plate, pointed oval at one end, squared at the other where it forms a rectangular attachment loop or eye. The loop is broken. The plate is flanked by two pointed, pierced lugs for attachment (one is broken) with a third at the apex of the plate, opposite the rectangular loop. The two complete lugs have a central circular perforation and a small projection at the apex. A copper alloy enamelled dress fastener. A hook piece from single blunt hooked and eye clasp. An ovoid plate with a broken wide hook at one and and a shell-shaped knop at the other. The front of the plate is decorated with a design in moulded relief and champlevé enamel. The design comprises a central bearded face with a pellet band over the head, flanked at the top by two angled loops and with a framing chevron flanked by scrolls below. Sub-oval clothing fastener. Rectangular loop at one end for corresponding hook to link with. Sub oval plate with three pierced lobes for attachment (one at apex of oval and one either side). The surface has a floral/foliate motif - a pyramidal flower with long leaves either side- formed from several decorative elements (incised lines, curved and straight, crescent stamp, ring and dot).
