A pair of complete copper alloy post-medieval dividers, dating to the period c. AD1600-1800. The dividers have a globular head which accomodates a copper alloy axis bar from which both arms are hinged. The head narrows to form one arm, which is D shaped in cross-section. This arm is recessed to accomodate the second arm, also D shaped in cross-section. The dividers no longer open. There is a green patina on the surface, with some brown areas.
