A tertiary flint flake. Incomplete. The flake is of mid-grey flint with off-white patches and has a glossy patina. There is a wide striking platform at the proximal end and a low bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The distal end has been snapped off. A large flint blade flake. An elongate flake of light brown-grey opaque flint with sparse mottles. The surface has some light, semi-matt patination. There is an area of thick nodule cortex at the distal end. At the proximal end is a narrow striking platform with a low, diffuse bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The bulb develops into wide, low waves of percussion to the distal end of the ventral face. The dorsal face has two, large, parallel flaking scars from previous blade removals. A piece of flint debitage of probable Neolithic-Bronze Age date, circa 4000 - 801 BC. It is a tertiary flake and retains none of the original cortex. The dorsal face exhibits 6 negative flake scars from previous flake removal, one of which terminates in a hinge fracture. The proximal end has a large striking platform, and a bulb of percussion is present on the ventral face, as well as two parallel flake scars from flake removal. The flint is grey-brown in colour with white inclusions. The debitage measures 43.91mm in length, 26.54mm in width, 9.88mm in thickness and weighs 14.44g.
