Cast copper alloy fragment from a crotal bell with the 'sunburst' pattern decorating the remains of the lower part of this spherical-shaped bell. The pattern consists of five tear-shaped rays with a central longitudinal line that fan outwards from the edge of the slit. The slit edge terminates at both ends in a semi-circular aperture, 5 mm in diameter, which would have originally been a circular hole.
