Silver soldino of Doge Leonardo Loredan dating to 1501 - 1521. Minted in Venice.  The obverse shows the Doge receiving the banner of St Michael, the reverse shows Christ stand holding a cross. Diameter: 12.23 mm Weight: 0.26 g Die axis: 5 Soldini entered circulation via the Venetian trading fleet, and were used in place of silver half-pennies which were in short supply.
