A Roman copper-alloy radiate of Carausius, dating to AD 286 - 293 (Reece Period 14). RESTI[T]VT SAECV, reverse type shows Carausius standing left, holding globe and spear, being crowned by Victory, standing left, holding palm over left shoulder. No mint mark. RIC V, pt 2, p. 540, cf. no. 969, Four coins of this type with reverse legend RESTIT SAECVL are recording for the new RIC for Carausius. One is in the Hunter Cabinet in Glasgow (no. 157). It is just possible that there is an obscured L after SAECV, but this is still a new variant nevertheless.

An incomplete copper alloy coin, a radiate of Carausius (AD 286-93). The obverse appears to be [VIRTVS CARAVSI] AVG with helmeted bust left holding spear and shield. The reverse appears to be [TEMPO]R FELI[ ...], so therefore probably Felicitas standing left. The mintmark, if there is one, is unclear. This piece cannot be matched to any specific example in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

Roman copper alloy radiate of Carausius dating to the period AD 286 - 293 (Reece Period 14). SPES PVBLIC reverse type depicting Spes standing left, holding flower and robes. Mint unclear. It is just possible that there are field letters on the reverse, but it is most likely clear. This is supported by an obverse legend with out C[aesar] between IMP and CARAVSIVS.... Furthermore, in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC this type is only recorded for unmarked pieces. RIC V pt.2, p. 542, cf. no. 1008.
