An assemblage of three late Roman silver siliquae, one of which is cracked and another of which is broken into two pieces, with the remaining fragment still missing. All are very lightly clipped (clipping factor 1). Treasure case 2017 T332: Disclaimed, returned to finder. 2 Roman denarii to AD 194, part of a larger hoard of 3 denarii to AD 211 Circumstances of Find Found while metal detecting on grassland by a single finder. A third denarius was also found nearby by a separate finder, recorded as SOM-ED5125, and which was probably also associated with this hoard. Sherborne, Dorset 35 radiates to AD 271 Circumstances of Find The coins were found on 07/02/2016 by the finder whilst metal detecting on cultivated land. The finder reports that the coins were scattered around a small area, indicating that the original deposit had been struck by the plough. No pottery, or other evidence of a container was found with the coins.
