A copper alloy lug from a chafing dish handle. Broadly oval in plan, the lug is broken at the attachment edn. It has a large circular, off-centre piercing through which the dhandl woud have been attached. All the surfaces have file marks on them. For a parallel see SUSS-DC2D20.
