An incomplete cast copper-alloy candle snuffer element, probably of 17th century date. The object consists of a sub-triangular L-sectioned open box The front plate is triangular with a curved base and is moulded with a facing human bust set within a possible halo type motif. Above the human face is a possible plant or perhaps candle motif. The upper face projects slightly over the sides creating a flange. The back is hollow and undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy bar mount from a post-medieval candle snuffer, wick trimmer type, dating AD c. 1650-1750. The bar mount is rectangular in shape with a trefoil shaped terminal at the short ends.The bar is flat and decorated on the front. In the centre four rings-and-dots are enclosed within a rectangular frame that follows the shape of the object; the trefoil ends are decorated with three blind drilled mark. The back part is flat and undecorated.
The mount measures 60.64mm in length, 11.77mm in width, 2.51mm in thick and weights 8.45g.

An incomplete copper-alloy strip with five in-line ring-and-dot motifs from a post-medieval wick trimmer. The broadly rectangular strip has broken at two points, each of which appear to be rivet holes; the short edges are both slightly angled at these points. The front, in addition to the ring-and-dot decoration, is bevelled along one of its long edges. The reverse is plain with evidence of solder along one of the long edges, between the rivet holes, one shorter edge perpendicular to the end of the traces along the long edge, at possibly also along the other shorter edge in a similar…
