A worn and corroded cast copper-alloy fragment possibly from a brooch of uncertain, possibly Roman date. This artefact is formed from a sub-rectangular in plan head, which has a central circular perforation, with an extension to the left that terminates in the remnants of a circular section pin. From the main body of the possible head extends a rectangular in plan, sub-rectangular in section possible bow.
