A complete copper alloy annular brooch. A small circular framed brooch. The frame is oval in cross section. It has a constriction for the pin attachment. The front of the frame is decorated with a moulded pattern of evenly spaced transverse incised lines with raised areas between.The pin is of copper alloy. It is rectangular and is hooked at one and over the constriction in the frame. It terminates in a break. The frame and pin are different colours and probably of different alloys.

An incomplete copper alloy annular brooch. The frame only remains, the pin is missing. The frame thin and oval with an oval cross section. It is decorated with moulded diagonal grooves all over the front face, the rear is undecorated. THere is a narrow oconstriction in the middle of one of the long sides where the missing pin was attached.

The front face is decorated with six raised circular cells or collets. Each of these contains a white paste material, probably the remains of a fixative for holding the original glass stones in place (now missing). A cast Medieval annular brooch, circa 13th-14th century which retains its pin. The brooch is circular with six collets which may once have held enamel and which project from the front of the frame, each having a triangular side profile. Between each pair of collets is a rounded lobe with punched annulet decoration, except for the location of the pin constriction which replaces the lobe between the adjacent collets. The pin has a rounded articulation loop and a small moulded collar. Parts of the internal face of the frame retain patches of gilding.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch dating to the period AD 1200-1400. The frame of the brooch is circular in shape and D-shaped in cross-section. A small portion of the frame is narrowed to circular-section where the pin is attached by a loop. The pin loop is D-shaped in cross-section and is divided from the rest of the D-sectioned pin shaft by a single ribbed collar. The rest of the pin shaft is relatively even in width along its length and terminates at an old worn break. The terminal of the pin is missing.

A complete medieval silver gilt annular brooch with floral decoration. The brooch is annular in shape, with a flattened profile along both vertical sides, where the pin and pin rest are placed. Along the horizontal sides, the frame of the brooch is twisted, in a simple twist which creates a spiral appearance. A complete annular brooch and pin. The frame is wide and dished producing a C-shaped cross section. The inner edge is chamfered. There is a constriction in the frame for the attachment of the pin. The frame is undecorated. The pin is a strip of silver sheet metal which tapers to a point. the point has been bent down at right angles to the body of the pin. At the other end the strip is curled over where it was attached to the frame. Before the hooked end the front face of the pin has six incised angled grooves.

An unusually large and decorative medieval silver annular brooch complete with pin and decorated with incised lines, inlaid niello and an inscription. The brooch is circular in cross section and, while weighty, the weight suggests it is hollow. There is a constriction at one point where the pin head is looped and corresponding slight wear on the opposite side of the ring, on the front where the pin point rests.

A Medieval copper alloy annular brooch dating to AD 1200-1400. The brooch consists of an incomplete circular frame, with a constriction to hold a lost pin. The frame has broken at the constriction. The frame consists of a series of projecting collets alternating with seven sub-circular lobes; six of the latter (the exception being that opposite the constriction) are perforated, with 5 retaining sub-conical rivets. The frame is plano-convex in cross section.

On the axis perpendicular to the constriction, the frame expands into a projecting collet on one side, and an elongated knop with central engraved groove on the opposite side. The frame is plano-convex in cross section.

An incomplete silver annular brooch with an inscription on both faces, The frame is circular with a flat, rectangular cross section. There is a thin constriction in the frame for the attachment of the missing pin. Both faces of the frame are inscribed. One face is inscribed with only six letters, spaced apart. The other face is covered with an inscription of around 28 letters. Both inscriptions contain Roman and Lombardic style lettering and some of the letters are reversed.
