A complete, unfinished flint oblique arrowhead of the Late Neolithic period. The arrowhead made from a sub-triangular tertiary flake of blue-grey patinated flint with an unfinished barb projecting from the left side of the base. The barb is c. 13mm long and 15mm wide at its widest point.
The ventral surface shows signs of hinging towards its left edge. There is sporadic inverse retouch, with some 18mm of scaled retouch on the right edge of the ventral surface towards the base, and a notch formed in the middle of the left edge.

A Late Neolithic flint oblique arrowhead manufactured on a tertiary flake (3300 BC-2200 BC).
This arrowhead is sub-triangular in plan, and asymmetrical. On one face, the longer side with the barb there is limited short scaled low angle. The shorter side has been retouched over its whole length, one face has long scaled low angle retouch while the other is short scaled semi-abrupt retouch. This retouch extends along the barb edge. An oblique arrowhead - almost certainly unfinished, made on a thin sub-triangular and assymetrical tertiary flake of semi-opaque mid grey flint with a mid-gloss patina. There is semi-invasive, scaled, low angle retouch on one face of the butt, and an attempt has been made to form a characteristic 'tail' on one side of the butt. There is also unifacial retouch at the 'point' end, although the small bulb of percussion has not been removed, and no point has been formed. One margin retains a sharp cutting edge; the other is slightly tagged and irregular.

An almost-complete copper alloy Bronze Age (1275-1140 BC) flat arrowhead.Cast in a two piece mould, this arrowhead is barbed and tanged in form, with the two sides forming an angle of approximately 25-30 degrees. It is 26.85mm long, 19.2mm wide from barb to barb, 2.00mm thick and weighs 2.54g. The tang is incomplete and measures c.4.55mm long, 5.45mm wide and 1.55mm thick. The arrowhead has a very low mid ridge, giving the object a lozengiform cross-section.
There is only one bronze arrowhead from a secure Bronze Age context in Britain and that was in the Penard hoard, first report…

A flint leaf shaped arrow head probably late Neolithic to early Bronze Age. This has been made from a very pale brown flint flake, which has a low bulb of percussion and obvious concoidal ripples on the ventral side, while several flakes have been removed from the dorsal side, leaving a low dorsal ridge and ripples in various directions from where the flakes have been removed. There is the hint of a tang at the proximal end, showing evidence of re-working by micro flaking. The edges of the blade have also been reworked around almost the entire perimeter, with micro flaking mostly on t…

A small barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead measures 24.40mm by 20.30mm by 4.60mm and weighs 1.48g. The arrowhead has been made from a flake, which was invasively retouched on both sides by pressure flaking. Its small size, light weight and small length to breath ratio place it as a Sutton type (Butler 2005, pp. 162-3). The light brownish-cream flint has a low-gloss patina
