There are three examples in Mitchiner all from the same die (1988, nos. 1734-1735). It has been perforated for suspension in the post medieval period and the hole is 3 mm in diameter. Very worn, it measures 24.16mm in diameter, 0.47mm in thickness, and weighs 1.230 grams. It has been pierced twice through the obverse at the inner circle, at broadly opposing points, possibly for conversion into a jewellery item. The locations can only be given based on the reverse: at about 11 o'clock and 6 o'clock.
