A silver thimble of post-medieval date, c. AD 1660-1669. This squashed and now incomplete thimble is of two-piece composite construction, formed of a main piece of silver sheet, once curved to create a flared cylinder; the shallowly convex dome (crown) that would have surmounted it is now missing. A fragment of a post-medieval silver brooch, comprising the upper part of the frame in the shape of a crowned heart (c. 1600-1750). The upper part of the heart survives along with the crown, which is single domed with a central jewel. There are two apertures above the band of the crown which is decorated with two subtle ornaments.  No maker’s mark survives. A complete medieval silver gilt annular brooch with floral decoration. The brooch is annular in shape, with a flattened profile along both vertical sides, where the pin and pin rest are placed.  Along the horizontal sides, the frame of the brooch is twisted, in a simple twist which creates a spiral appearance. A complete silver gilt dress pin. The silver head is hollow and spherical and decorated with silver wire filigree and raised bosses. A thicker flattened strip of silver divides the head into two hemispheres. At the top there is a cylindrical knop which gives the appearance that the shaft goes through the head. The shaft survives to its pointed terminal- it is circular in cross section, tapering to a sharp point. It is bent to just above 90 degrees, probably as part of post depositional damage.
