A copper alloy probable candle holder. The object is in the form of a stylised cockerel with an integral conical socket, The bird has a long neck with a small, beaked head with stylised comb and wattle. There are moulded crescentic ridges on the sides of the body to indicate wings. The body extends downwards into a pair of legs, each with an angled joint and one complete with an expanded crescent shaped foot. It also extends back into a curved, spilt tail, with hooked ends. A  copper-alloy double looped annular buckle frame. The frame only remains, the pin is missing. The buckle frame is asymmetrical, with one D-shaped loop and the other a slightly elongated, less rounded D-shape with two shallow recesses in the outer circumference, giving the outer edge a flared appearance. The bar is central and trapezoidal in cross-section with traces of iron corrosion. A copper alloy English jetton. Probably issued under Edward II (1307 - 1327). Berry type 5 obverse depicting a lion passant facing left with four fleurs de lys around and a wavy line below the feet. Around this is an outer border of sexfoil rosettes alternating with small pellets. Below the line is a row of trefoils formed from pellets. A copper alloy seal matrix. A pedestal type with a hexagonal faceted handle. The handle has a low collar at the top and a lozengiform suspension loop with a quatrefoil aperture. The handle flares into a circular die. The die is incised with a frame of an eight pointed star (formed by two overlapping and off set squares) around a central raised hexagonal frame around a motif of a tree with rounded top and broad trunk. A complete copper alloy annular ring, possibly a harness ring, of unknown date but most likely Medieval to Post Medieval in date, c AD 1100 - 1800. It is a rough oval in section, and there are mould marks opposite each other on the outer edge. It has a mottled green patina. Dimensions: 29.5mm in diameter;  4.4mm in width;  2.4mm thick;  4.76g in weight. These are common detector finds, but their function and dating are not well understood (Geake, Finds Recording Guide, page 54)

A copper alloy seal matrix. It is lozenge-shaped. There is an attachment loop at the top of the back which has a circular aperture and is set on the centre line of the longitudinal axis, extending into a low ridge to the opposite end. There is an indistinct incised line legend around the edge with an incised line border on the inner edge. The centre is recesses with traces of a motif, but this has been damaged making it impossible to identify. An incomplete sheet copper alloy buckle plate. One half only remaining. A trapeziodal copper alloy plate with two rectangular tabs at one side. A large copper alloy circular mount  dating to the later 14th to 15th century. The mount has a moulded, decorated front with a interlaced six pointed star (Seal of Solomon) filling most of the field. In the cell in the centre of the star is an enface lions head. The lion has rounded ears, moulded eyes, nose and muzzle, sticking out tongue and incised lines to the top, side and base indicating the mane. The object has a flat elongated sub-ovate shape with a curved profile, one side is missing to a break.
