The fabrics are coarsely tempered and patchily fired with colour varying from light to dark grey and with some orange-red or buff oxidisation at the margins. The temper is quite dense, poorly sorted and includes rounded quartz sand and occasional calcareous and ironstone pieces. Handmade. Heavily abraded. Two rim sherds. A large fragment of ceramic ridge tile. The fabric is reduced dark grey at the core with oxidised orange to red-brown marginns. It contains abundant sand and occasional ironstone pieces. It is highly fired. The tile is an obtuse V-shape in profile and has a pair of deep indentations on the exterior of the apex.
