17 sherds of medieval coarsewares. All are sherds from cooking jars. The fabrics are coarsely tempered and patchily fired with colour varying from light to dark grey and with some orange-red or buff oxidisation at the margins. The temper is quite dense, poorly sorted and includes rounded quartz sand and occasional calcareous and ironstone pieces. Handmade. Heavily abraded.
Two rim sherds. One is flat topped and one is everted.
Three base sherd. All are flat bases from jars.
12 body sherds.

Three sherds of post medieval glazed red earthenwares. All are probably from the Holnest (West Dorset) or Donyatt (South Somerset) industries.
1] A rim sherd from a plate or shallow bowl. The fabric is reduced grey at the core with orange oxidised margins. It is sand tempered. The internal surface is decorated with an incised wavy line and glazed with a an orange-brown lead glaze. The rim is everted with a slight external bead on the upper edge.

A large fragment of ceramic ridge tile. The fabric is reduced dark grey at the core with oxidised orange to red-brown marginns. It contains abundant sand and occasional ironstone pieces. It is highly fired. The tile is an obtuse V-shape in profile and has a pair of deep indentations on the exterior of the apex. One end of the tile retains the finished, flattened edge.The undereside is coarse with sandy surface. Handmade.

There is a single rim sherd from an everted rimmed jar, which has an external small bead on the outer edge, a wider, low bead on the upper edge and internal lid seat ridge. The remaining three are body sherds. The sherds are externally sooted and thin-walled. All are from hand made vessels, probably cooking jars. All are slightly abraded.
