Base silver douzain, probably of Henry III of France (1574-1589). The coin is in poor condition, partially encrusted with copper alloy corrosion, with a portion broken off, a piece of which is with the coin and another fragment is missing. There is a square shield on the obverse with an 'H' on either side, but it has not been stamped centrally, and the letters [HEN]RI[CV]S.II[I] D.G [FRA]N [ET] PO [REX] in the obverse legend in the right position for this type of coin.
