A fragment of a Middle to Late Bronze Age copper alloy sickle, probably dating to c. 1500-800 BC. The fragment consists of a sub-triangular, curving fragment of blade, with a central mid-rib tapering into the edges in cross section. The fragment is truncated by an old break, with all edges being abraded. Length: 20.3mm; width: 15.6mm; thickness: 2.1mm; weight: 1.83g. cf. a similar, but more complete sickle found at Edington Burtle (Pearce 1983: 512-513, no. 648). The fragment is too incomplete to be further classified.

A fragment of Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy brooch, probably dating from AD 25-75. A hinged strip bow brooch, with only its head and upper bow remaining. The head of the brooch is damaged, but originally consisted of a rectangular sheet of copper alloy rolled under itself to form the wings for a lost axis bar; the right wing has been lost whilst the left is now broken at the fold. A copper alloy ring of uncertain date and function. The ring has a sub-circular frame and flat sub-oval cross section. Diameter: 21.5mm; thickness: 3.5mm; weight: 2.18g. It is difficult to parallel such an undiagnostic find, similar rings have been found associated with Roman coin hoards (cf. SOM-0870A5), presumably part of the bag which had held the hoard, but may have been used for a variety of purposes at different points in time, cf. also SWYOR-158878.

One sheet plate from a probable Medieval composite buckle or strap end, probably dating to c. AD 1250-1500. Probably originally one of two copper alloy sheet plates. The plate is sub-rectangular, tapering into a rounded end. The opposite end of the plate has a central circular perforation to accommodate a pin or rivet, c. 3mm in diameter. Dimensions: 20.9mm in length; 13.6mm in width,11.1mm where the plate narrows into the rounded end; 0.6mm thick; 0.64g in weight. This also possibly a spacer from a composite strap end. cf Egan and Pritchard (1991) p145 no685.

A Medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle dating to c. AD 1250 - 1500. It is D shape in form and in section but the rear bar is offset and circular in section. There is a rectangular, inward facing, knop mid way along the length of the rear bar. There is a transverse ridge on each side of the loop, just above the rear bar and a large globular knop on a rounded collar on the outer edge of the frame. Dimensions: length 22.6mm; width 12.42mm; thickness 4.8mm; weight 2.13g. cf Griffiths, Philpott & Egan (2007: 94) nos. 622-629.

A Medieval cast copper alloy strap slide with external integral rivet, dating to c. AD 1250 - 1400. The frame is sub-rectangular in form, with a sub-rectangular cross section throughout, and with one arm of the frame being slightly expanded, and with an integral rivet, sub-rectangular in cross section, expanding from the exterior surface of the opposite arm. A cast copper alloy Medieval anthropomorphic mount, with integral rivet and rove within the upper part of the reverse, probably dating to c. AD 1300-1400 AD. A copper alloy annular brooch, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The brooch consists of a circular frame with a constriction to hold a lost pin. On the axis perpendicular to the constriction, the frame expands into a projecting collet on one side, and an elongated knop with central engraved groove on the opposite side. The frame is plano-convex in cross section. Dimensions: Length 30.0mm; width 18.9mm; thickness 4.0mm; weight 1.82g.
