The forked spacer consists of two 'prongs' which extend from the back of the frame and are roughly filed to provide a key when soldered to the composite double sheet copper alloy plates which are now missing. A complete medieval copper-alloy bar mount with symmetrical hemispherical lobes: at either end a small one with squared off terminal, flanking a larger central one. There are drilled holes for separate rivets in each small lobes, both in situ. The mount is undecorated and generally flat on the reverse; the small lobes are hollow backed. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Polden Hill type two-piece brooch with a spring mechanism. The cross bar of the brooch is composed of hollow, rectangular wings which are semi-circular in profile to accommodate the iron spring, now missing. The frame is 'D' shaped, the sides expanding to a sloping outer face.From thee upper end of the plate springs a 'U' shaped tab, folded around the axis bar, the central slit having originally accommodated the now-missing pin. At the frame end, the plate is heart shaped and has an in situ copper-alloy rivet near its centre. At the non-frame end, the plate has a rectangular area, again with aan off-centre rivet. A cast copper-alloy acorn-shaped strap mount from the post-Medieval period, c.1500 - 1700 AD. the seed has a knop to the top with a horizontal band below. The copular appears to have had grooved bark effect decoration which has degraded and there is a projecting spur to the base. The back is flat and plain with one complete attachment rivet; the other rivet has broken in antiquity, with only a short section surviving. A sheet copp-alloy mount, probably dating from the Late Medieval period. The plate is rectangular and has an in situ copper-alloy rivet which is placed centrally to one edge. There is no evidence of decoration but the reverse side reveals a smaller sub-rectangular shadow which may be mineralised leather. The suggested late medieval date is based on the form and also its glossy olive green patina. The dimensions are: Length 19.67 mm. Width 20.53 mm. Thickness 0.73 mm. Weight:1.356 grams.

At copper-alloy strap-end from the Medieval period. The strap-end comprises two tongue-shaped plates of equal size which are held together by an in situ copper-alloy rivet, located at the top right-hand corner. The two corresponding rivet holes at the top left-hand corner are empty. The plates have a flat top side; the long sides are also straight and converge to a rounded bottom point. The object has a length of 28.70 mm, a tapered width of 15.49 mm to 7.50 mm, a thickness of 0.68mm and weighs 2.288 grams.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount from the late early-medieval period (c. 11th century). It has been truncated at the apex following old damage. A uninscribed cast bronze stater of the Durotriges, (circa mid 1st century BC, to mid 1st century AD). It is generally believed these were produced at Hengistbury Head and this type was cast in strips. The diameter is 16.05 mm, with a thickness of 1.88 mm and weight of 1.645 grams. The object is in fine condition with a dark green patina.

A fragment of a cast iron cannon ball of probable 17th century date. approximately one third of the original ball remains, the fracture probably having been caused by a flaw from the casting process. A mould line is evident. The ball has a diameter of 98.29 mm,( circa 3.5 inches), a thickness from the break of 48.16 mm, and weighs 1.115 kg.
