An incomplete copper alloy bow brooch. A headstud type. At the top is the stub of a chain loop. The wings are short and the right is incomplete. They are D-shaped in cross section, flat at the front and convex at the rear. The wings house the iron axis bar for the missing hinged pin which was attached in a notch between the wings. The head of the bow curves down from the wings and is decorated with a large moulded headstud. An incomplete copper alloy bow brooch. A developed T-shaped brooch (Colchester derivative). The lower bow and part of the pin are missing. The wings are short and cylindrical. They house the axis bar for the hinged pin mechanism. At the head in an incomplete chain loop. The bow projects downwards from the wings and is D-shaped in cross section. It tapers slightly before expanding into a flatter section which is decorated with a triangular incised frame and recess, pointing upwards.
