An silver shilling of Charles I (AD 1625 - 49), dating to AD1641-1643. CAROLVS DG MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX obverse depicting sixth (Briot style) bust facing left, XII behind head. CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO reverse depicting a square shield over short cross fleury. Initial mark is probably a triangle in circle. Tower mint under Charles I. Much of outer part of legend is missing probably due to clipping. North (1991) p 160, no 2231.

An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting. The mount is hourglass-shaped and has a rectangular transverse collar at both the shorter ends. The edges are bevelled on front and rear. A complete Post Medieval copper alloy open work cordate (heart shaped) mount, dating to c AD 1550-1700. It is D shaped in section,with two integral oval section spikes still in situ on the underside, both now themselves bent, but also bent in towards the plate. It has a bifurcate, wider basal end, the junction of the two halves of the mount accentuated by a V shape groove. This open area at the base has an internal chamferred edge. The terminal consists of two circular petals flanking an elongated ovate pointed central petal.

A copper alloy strap mount. An openwork decorative mount in the form of a stylised fleur de lis. There are two integral rivets at the rear of the plate set in from the ends of the central element of the lis. The plate comprises a long, solid central element with a rounded top and a transverse collar at the base, flanked by two loops with D-shaped apertures.

A fragment of copper alloy spur. The partial rowel box and fragments of the sides only remain. The remnants of the sides are D-shaped in cross section, curving and slightly tapered to the breaks. The exterior surface is decorated with incised lines comprising a pattern of double stranded curvilinear bands flanking vertical line infill. The neck is very shirt and terminates in two incomplete arms forming the rowel box

An incomplete copper alloy button. A composite, discoidal,two-piece button with a solid convex front and a missing separate shank. There is a slight knop at the centre of the convex front. The rear is flat with a central depression for the attachment of the missing shank.

An almost complete copper-alloy post-medieval trade weight (19th century), dating to AD 1834-1849. The upper surface has a wide and high rim. The reverse has a a central depression, around which a rim covered in concentric circular turning rings indicating finishing on a lathe. Within the rim on the upper surface, the field is stamped centrally with a crowned GB with a slightly offset IV beneath indicating George IV (1820-1830). A complete copper alloy trade weight. The weight is flat and circular with a raised rim around the edge of the upper surface. The weight is stamped with the following marks: a crowned 'EL' (for Elizabeth I) and a sword (the sword of St. Paul for the City of London Guildhall) at 6 o'clock, and a ewer (for the London Founder's Company) at 12 o'clock. These marks date the weight to AD 1590-1603. The reverse is flat with a number of angled file marks. It weighs 0.42 of an ounce.

A copper alloy strap slide (Maslin's Lobed and Waisted type). It comprises lobed and waisted plate with two integral spikes at the rear. The lobes are rounded and elongated. Across the centre between them is a transverse double ridge. The front is convex and the rear is flat. The integral spikes project from the rear of the plate at the outer edges. A copper alloy ring-type sewing thimble. Circular in shape with sides that are angled in to the upper edge. There is no clear definition of either the upper rim, but there is a plain area at the edge of the base. The hand stamped indentations are applied in right-handed spiral. There is no visible seam.

A copper alloy strap slide (Maslin's Openwork type). It comprises an openwork plate with the stubs of two integral spikes at the rear. The plate has an openwork quatrefoil central element. At the ends of two of the lobes (opposite each other) are pointed flat projections behind which are the stubs of the two integral spikes.

A copper alloy uniface coin weight. The weight is sub-angular and flat. One face is decorated with a Latin cross leaning to the left within a circular pelleted border. The cross is flanked with a fleur de lis in its lower left quarter and a standing lion facing left in the lower right quarter. The reverse blank and undecorated. This is a French made weight for a Salut d'or of Henry VI first issued in 1423.

A copper alloy trade weight probably from the reign of Henry VII or Henry VIII. The weight is flat and circular. On the upper surface there are two incised concentric circles, one 2.5 mm in from the edge, the other towards the centre 18.5 mm in from the edge.These surround a central circular recess. The upper face has been stamped with a crowned lombardic h set between the two incised circles at about the 6 o'clock position. The back of the trade weight has multiple concentric ridges and angled file marks. It weighs approximately 1.5 ounces.

A Post Medieval gold finger ring. A posy ring with the internal inscription Let vertue be thy guide in italic lettering. There is no maker’s or other mark. The hoop has a D-shaped cross section and is slightly distorted into an oval shape.

This inscription is common on rings from the later 17th to mid-18th century. Judy Rudoe of the British Museum has noted that in the absence of a makers mark there is insufficient evidence to confirm that the ring was over 300 years old when fond in 2021 (pers comm 18/11/2022).
