A cast copper alloy pot leg dating to the post medieval period, c. 1600-1750. The leg is triangular in section and rectangular in shape, the triangular sectional appearance is  caused by a tall  central midrib which extends downwards in the centre of the object. It is unusually broken at the upper area, with the break occurring midway down the leg rather than at the point where the leg meets the body.  Cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from AD1200 to 1700 for serving and cooking. A fragment of glass, part (about half) of the circular base of a vessel, probably a wine or brandy bottle, of Post Medieval date, perhaps c AD 1600 -1800. The glass was perhaps originally dark green or blue, now translucent, and all surfaces, including the broken edges are now coated with pearlescence. The outer surface, however is more cloudy. The lower/underside of the fragment is a domed punt ('push-up' or 'kick-up') from the base. A jagged low section of the wall of the bottle is part of the fragment. There are no seam or mould marks on the extant fragment, so probably free-blown,…
