1 large sherd of internally glazed red ware. The fabric is reduced pale grey with an oxidised exterior surface and tempered with fine sand. The internal surface is covered in a pale green glaze which also overlaps the rim. A rim sherd from a jar. The rim is wide and slightly everted with an internal lid seat at its base. On the exterior of the rim at the vessel shoulder is an applied strip with thumb decoration. Wheelmade. Some abrasion. Date: Early post-medieval - late 16th to 17th century

The decoration is in the form of horizontal bands with a row of inverted u-shapes inscribed over. Body sherd, probably from a jug. Moderately abraded. Donyatt ware (Somerset). Probably late medieval to early post medieval (c. 16th to 17th century)

2 conjoining rim sherds of an oxidised dull red fabric with a reduced dark grey core. Fine sand temper. Internally glazed and glazed upper surface of the rim. The rim is wide and very everted with a thickened and flattened outer edge. The green glaze appears over-fired (it is thickened and has bubbles in it). There are also a firing fracture and a void in the rim. These indicate that this is a second? or waster.

Some external sooting. 14 are body sherds, probably from jars. 2 conjoining pieces are rim sherds from a jar. The rim is wide, flat-topped and cupped.
