A cast copper alloy strap-end with a separately applied silver sheet and silver beaded wire. The strap-end is of elongated, sub-rectangular form with a split, squared off attachment end containing three rivets, and a pointed, zoomorphic terminal. It is in the form of a beast's head with large ears, protruding, oval eyes and a snub-nosed muzzle. the snout has two small nostrils delineated. The muzzle is decorated with curving tendrils.
